Top travel destination! Japan makes it to the list of the top travel destinations among many people from various countries. There are many activities, from attractions to scenic views and unique foods.

Beginner travelers frequently fly from Hong Kong to Tokyo, traversing from Japan’s high-tech mega cities to the quiet country sides. The choice is abundant in Japan, with something for any traveler.

Japan is a country of contrast; therefore, it can be challenging to choose where and how to spend your precious time visiting Tokyo. You can create great experiences by finding great things to do while traveling in Japan. You can be spoilt for choices because of the many things you can do while in Tokyo.

Getting started in Tokyo

In most cases, you will arrive in Japan via plane and land in Tokyo. When you reach the first sting you want to find is your accommodation. Japan is a highly developed country. Regardless, there are many affordable accommodation options.

A unique option would be a capsule hotel experience. In a capsule hotel, you would get a little cube for yourself since you might not be spending all your time in the hotel. A night stay can range between two thousand and four thousand yen.

Which places can you visit when in Tokyo?

Sensoji Temple

Tokyo is a good mix between a super modern and ancient city. For example, the Sensoji Temple, Tokyo’s oldest Buddhist temple. It was established in 645 A.D. It is massive, with giant lanterns bordering the city, beautiful paintings, and the statue of deities.

You can cleanse at the small stone fountain and get your fortune reading at the shrine. Furthermore, you can dress up in a kimono and take some photographs there. While dressed up, you may find it fun to take different views of the city.

Shibuya Crossing

Shibuya crossing is believed to be the busiest crosswalk in the world. Over two million people cross Shibuya every day. You might want to hit up high to grab perfect shots of the crossing.

Kagaya bar

In the Kagaya bar, the menu is written in crayons, and cups vibrate when you pick them up. There are other exotic performances every time you order a drink from the bar. Besides, you can play a variety of exciting games.

The food offered in the bar comprises Japanese home cooking. Such foods include primarily vegetables cooked with a Japanese mother’s nature. If you want to experience Japan in its unedited form, you can consider a Kagaya bar experience.

Kurand Sake Market

You can get yourself some sake at the Kurand Sake Market. There are over one hundred kinds of Japanese rice wine to choose your preference. Some of the flavors you could choose from include mango, matcha, and milk, to mention a few.

Sake is easy to drink and hardly tastes alcoholic. So, you may have as many as possible. An unlimited sake-tasting course is about three thousand Yen. The unlimited tasting will allow you to explore as many flavors as possible.

Akihabara region

Akihabara region is also known as the electric town. It is famous for anime, manga, and cosplay. While in Akihabara, be sure to check out the Don Quijote Megastore. It is a perfect place to find out lots of exciting things.
